- Fireproof cable has a conductor core protected with fireproof tape and insulated with a layer of Halogen-free low-smoke thermoset or XLPE. The cores are placed together and protected by an armored low-smoke, halogen-free sheath around the cable. With multi-core cables or aluminum conductors with single cables and finally a protective layer of low-smoke, halogen-free material on the outside.
- Fireproof cable is composed of: copper core, fireproof Mica insulation layer, XLPE insulation layer and LSZH outer protective sheath.
- Unarmored cables do not have internal padding and armoring. Its sheath is low in smoke. Halogen of this cable is resistant to ultraviolet rays. Type FR cables have a voltage of 600/1000V and are manufactured according to BS 7211 (single core conductor), IEC 60502 (unarmored), and BS 7846 (armored).
- Single core conductor: 1C x 1.5mm2 to 1C x 1000mm2
- Armored wire:  1C x 10mm2 to 1C x 1000mm2, 2C x 1.5mm2 to 4C x 500mm2

- IEC 60331 standard: Fireproof cable can withstand temperature conditions (DKND) of 750 degrees Celsius for at least 90 minutes.
- Standard IEC 60332-1: Vertical flame spread test for single insulated wires and cables. The scorched distance of the sheath measured from the tip of the clamp to the bottom is ≥ 50mm. If IEEE 383 standard is applied, the fire does not spread to the top.
- Standard IEC 60332-3-22 Type A: this test requires a cable sheath made from non-metallic material equivalent to 7l/m2 placed in bundles for a period of 40 minutes.
- Standard IEC 60332-3-23 Type B: this test requires a cable sheath made from non-metallic material equivalent to 3.5l/m2 placed in bundles for a period of 40 minutes.
- Standard IEC 60332-3-24 Type C: this test requires a cable sheath made from non-metallic material equivalent to 1.5l/m2 placed in bundles for a period of 40 minutes.
- Standard CNS 11174: Burning conditions at 840 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes:
- BS 6387 standard type A: Fire resistant at 650 degrees Celsius for 3 hours.
- BS 6387 standard type B: Fire resistant at 750 degrees Celsius for 3 hours.
- BS 6387 type C standard: Fire resistant at temperatures of 950 degrees Celsius for 3 hours.
- Standard BS 6387 type W: Fire resistant in the presence of water at a temperature of 650 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes. Then, withstand another 15 minutes when water spray impacts the cable.
